Title : Spcialiste principal de la production Apigee - Apigee Senior Production Specialist
Lieu/ Location : Montreal- 3 jours en prsentiel par semaine dont 1 lundi ou 1 vendredi
On-call une semaine sur 7 Montreal / 3 days in person per week, including 1 Monday or 1 Friday - On-call one week out of 7
Dure/ Duration: 15 mois, 40 heures par semaine- 15 months , 40 hours per week

Le candidat voluera dans un environnement de production applicative soutenant les plateformes digitales de la banque (IV2). Il jouera un rle central dans le support de la solution Google Apigee, en collaboration troite avec les quipes de dveloppement, infrastructure et scurit. Le rle est ax sur la stabilit, la performance, l'automatisation et la rsolution d'incidents critiques.
Tches principales :

• Assurer la surveillance proactive, la performance et la capacit des environnements Apigee
• Participer aux releases, aux tests de charge, et aux changements de configuration
• Personnaliser les outils de production : monitoring, dploiement, planification
• Participer aux revues d'architecture et projets de migration/upgrade
• Grer les incidents de production et assurer une rponse rapide hors heures normales
• Collaborer l'automatisation et l'amlioration continue des environnements

Requis :

• Bonne matrise de Google Apigee, REST API
• Solide exprience Linux/Unix (administration systme)
• Connaissance des serveurs d'applications : Tomcat, Apache, nginx, IIS
• Comptences rseaux et load balancing
• Matrise d'outils de monitoring comme Dynatrace
• Automatisation via Ansible / Ansible Tower
• Comptence en script : Python, Perl, Ruby, Java
• Exprience avec Splunk, Elastic Search
• Bilingue ou Anglo requis

• Exprience NoSQL : Cassandra, MongoDB

Job description : Overview:
A large-scale technology environment is seeking a Senior Production Engineer to support a modern API management platform based on Google Apigee. The engineer will join a multidisciplinary team responsible for maintaining high availability, performance, and automation of production systems. This role includes close collaboration with development, infrastructure, and architecture teams to ensure stability and continuous improvement of mission-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and optimize performance, availability, and capacity of production environments
• Participate in application releases, load testing, and configuration changes
• Customize production tools (monitoring, deployment, scheduling, etc.)
• Support architecture reviews, system upgrades, and migrations to new platforms
• Propose performance and capacity improvements
• Respond to incidents and contribute to root cause analysis and resolution
• Participate in a rotating on-call support schedule (including evenings/weekends as needed)

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Google Apigee and REST APIs
• Solid background in Linux/Unix system administration
• Experience with application servers and web technologies: Tomcat, Apache, nginx, IIS, and authentication protocols (e.g., SSO)
• Understanding of networking principles, firewalls, and load balancing technologies
• Experience with Dynatrace or other application monitoring tools
• Automation experience using Ansible / Ansible Tower
• Scripting and programming skills (e.g., Python, Perl, Ruby, Java)
• Familiarity with log indexing and analysis tools (Splunk, Elasticsearch)
• Bilingual or Anglo required

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines (CI/CD)
• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Familiarity with ITIL practices: incident, change, and release management
